The colts returned to winning ways today with a fine 6-1 victory against Pewsey.

The game started slowly, but then sprang into life on 11mins with Eddie scoring 4 goals in a 10 minute spell of superb finishing. Pewsey then scored the goal of the game on 22mins with an excellent strike from 25yds giving Jasper no chance. Matthew got on the scoresheet with a neat finish after a great chipped through ball from Tom L. 5-1 at halftime.

I asked for more of the same in the 2nd half and the guys tried their best, some of the build up play on a difficult pitch was very good, but we were a bit more wasteful in front of goal, we did manage to add to our tally after a fine run from Eddie who then squared the ball to James who made no mistake. Some good defensive work from Warwick, Joe E, Jacob & Callum ensured Pewsey never really looked like scoring again. A good performance from all. Well done.

Man of the match: Difficult to seperate Eddie & Jacob, both were excellent today. Eddie just gets the nod with 4 good goals.
