Obviously we moved players around to try and keep the score down, but the guys were in hungry mood right from the second minute when player of the month Ben Mullan slotted home the opener.

With our normal strikeforce of Archie and Louie starting the game on the bench this gave others an opportunity to hone their shooting skills. Ted, JJ, Jayden (2) & Alex (4) took it upon themselves to fill their boots! There was some really good football and the defending from Joe, Felix, JJ + Ted and Ben in the second half was brilliant. Max Campbell was the main assistor in the first half while Max Coupland came out of goal in the second half and so nearly converted an ooportunity created by Louie.

Archie and Louie did come into the game later and ended up with 2 goals each. It became a bit of a dribbling/shooting contest in the second half but not as bad as it would have been 6 months ago - maybe they are learning. Congratulations to JoeN for his 5 headers in one game award - never known before! The man of the match award though goes to Ted
