We played a freindly against our good friends from Derry Hill (3 thirds, 11 a side etc) - and what a match it turned out to be.

The Colts dominated possession and territory throughout the entire match - our visitors slightly pronounced physical prowess (honed through a season of blue division games) allowing them to keep us at bay and stay in the game. There were a number of chances for us to get our noses in front - specifically for Ben, Archie and Max - but we just couldnt quite do it. The first third ended 0-0.

The Colts won the second third 1-0 when Felix's exquisite lob left the keeper helpless. Alex was running the game at this time ably assisted by the equally fleet footed JBW.

The third, third seemed to be a step too far for a few of the lads - maybe the coach should have managed his substitutions better - after the usual 60 mins play got a little sloppy allowing DH to score two opportunist goals. As the colts won one third and lost a third - Im declaring this one a draw (matchplay)!
