There was some very good football played in what turned out to be a comfortable win at HQ this weekend. Everytime the lads were tempted to go back to the bad old days of dribbling and shooting too much they snapped out of it and reverted to great passing and movement.

Two stunning goals were snapped up - one great 25 yard half volley from Angus and then one that was later voted as GOAL OF THE YEAR! This was one Louie rounded off with a fine finish after a 7 pass move where every pass was precise and every move decisive. I was delighted.

Jayden got himself a hat-trick whereas JBW and Archie nabbed a brace each. Ben got the other one which rounded off a really good game for our left wing back. Ted also turned in one of his finest performances of the season as did JJ. Tom deserved his clean sheet with a very assured performance and was helped along to this by our key defenders Joe and Felix. Im pleased to say that our defence is better than both swindon and sheffield utd's defence judging by what Ive just watched!!

On Friday night we held our presentation evening -

Ben was awarded Clubman of the Year for a great attendance record at training, exceptional positive attitude and going beyomnd the call of duty by going to Worton just to watch us, when he ws rested.

JJ - Managers Special Award - two footed, technically excellent and now much more robust. Great player.

Joe - Managers Player of the year - second in players player. A joy to coach and the mainstay of our defensive side. Quality

Alex - Players Player - Perpetual Motion. Our Korey Smith/Tony Kroos. The gamechanger. A managers dream.
