On the first sunny sunday of 2015 the lads all got up in time and kicked off amongst the lakes of South Cerney. It looked like it may be a testing fixture - but the lads shook off any shackles and almost scored at will against our plucky hosts who certainly kept going untill the end and even found some humour along the way! Good attitude.  

The intricate passing was back and we began to notch goal on goal. Louie raced to 4 in a magnificent display. Cameron got one and still we were not sated. The coach was trying o move people around to keep it down but the lads were still hungry - Archie got his standard 3 and goals by Ben, Jacob, JJ and Alex finished things off. This match did feature one of the most impressive 20 seconds Ive ever seen from a Colt - Archie headed an oppositions free kick out of the top corner and then folowed his header and went on a run the entire length of the pitch where he was put through to score with a rasping half volley - incredible.

Apologies to SCerney- we just couldnt slow them down. On to harder matches now against Tetbury x2 and Marlborough.

Max made a couple of saves in the first half and Jayden was everywhere in a  tigerish display. Joe Gempton was truly magnificent in grabbing the MOM award.
