NWL U12 Division 1: CCCFC Whites 0 Croft Juniors Blue 3 Print
Season 15/16 - Under 12 White

It was another bad day at the office for the Colts as they failed to match the energy levels and teamwork of the previous week and were deservedly put to the sword by Croft Blues for the second time in a fortnight.
After going down to a last-minute penalty in the away fixture, this time the newly-promoted team were even more convincing winners thanks to a trio of second-half goals.
Following a goalless first half in which Croft had started much the brighter before the Colts finally woke up, the Swindon-based side took the lead when keeper Luke was left exposed and a visiting player followed up to score into an empty net after an initial attempt was parried.
They doubled their advantage within a minute when an effort found the top corner and, given the  Colts’ brittle confidence at the moment, the home team were left with a mountain to climb.
The hard-working Liam saw a free-kick saved and George also went close to reducing the arrears before Croft added a third to rub salt into the wounds.
Much more resilience, focus and greater desire to do the basics right both in and out of possession hold the key if the Colts are to recapture their form of last season in the final weeks of the campaign.
