The U12 Whites filled the top two places at a tournament for the second time this summer as the Colts dominated the prizes at Trowbridge Town.
A clash with two other big tournaments locally meant two Colts teams took on five from the host club at Woodmarsh and finished first and third in the standings after the round-robin stage. Both won their semi-final matches 1-0 before a goal from Liam B and a clean sheet from Toby decided a tight, all-Castle Combe final that could have gone either way.
The team of Bradley, Matthew, Toby, Liam B, Liam F and Josh lifted the trophy, with Tom, Luke VDB, George, Callum, Sam H and loan signing Sam W finishing as gallant runners-up having knocked out Trowbridge’s strongest team in the last four.
