Trophy match v Highworth ( away) on 13th November.

Castle Combe Colts put on on a fantastic performance- a real joy to watch as coaches! Everyone ran their socks off and gave 100%, passing the ball very well and making a decent Highworth team look in trouble from the start. Matty opened and completed the scoring, and in between Freddie finished a lovely move and James scored five for the second week running. However it was a complete team performance.
Special mentions to Bailey who showed real promise in goal, Harrison for his tenacity and chasing back, Cole for his great passing out from the back, Kwaku for his driving forward from defence to set up attacks, Nick for switching the play so effectively in CDM role, Sam for his running down the right wing and Will for his clever link up play.
Things to improve:
1. When in defence knowing when to clear it, or kicking the ball out of play when in trouble.
2. We still want a headed goal from corners/ free kicks/ crosses!

However keep up the superb improvement!
