Match Report 02/04/17 Lambourn Juniors v CCCFC U11s Castle Combe played superbly against a competent Lambourn team, with Joel scoring a hat trick, James getting two others and Freddie with a cracking header. The Colts only conceded 2 goals at the end of each half. Player positives; Bailey- much better use of the area and stronger kicking too Sam- good wing-play and clever runs on the right Brandon- good quick passing and link play on the wing. Seby- good defensive interceptions! Your defending is improving game by game! Kwaku- excellent recoveries when we were defending and clearing danger Nick- your best game for many matches! Super crossing and runs. Will- excellent distribution of the ball in midfield. Keep this going! Matty-great closing down and clever through balls to strikers. Joel- superb runs from deep and finishing. James- clever runs behind and great finishing. Overall Castle Combe were excellent with some beautiful passing moves which were quicker and with some clever touches, especially towards the end. Areas to improve: - finishing! We could have scored more - Defending better and scoring more at corners. However well done! Keep up this week by week improvement!
