U14 WHITE END SEASON ON MASSIVE HIGH Print
Season 16/17 - Under 14 White

Today the U14 Whites played their last league game of the season, and they were incredible. We took on a very very good team and fully deserved the result we got. A 5-1 victory. Everyone played their part when called on - EVERYONE.

Highworth had size, strength and organisation. We had strength, pace, skill, attitude and a tremendous team spirit. NO CONTEST. When Joe scored his goal and the whole team piled on to celebrate his first goal of the season - the team bond shone through.

Lucas's goal was a cracker. Our opponents then decided that the only way of stopping Archie - when he is in this mood - is to try and strongarm him out of the game. Fortunately he had already scored his hatrick including the goal of the season before they caught him!

Matt was incredible wherever he played whereas Alex was man of the match and perpetual motion rolled into one. I stress though that everyone in the team today, and those not in the squad today, have all contributed to this massive success of a season in Wiltshires top tier.

Our last 5 games -
Castle Combe U14 5 - 1 Highworth Town Juniors T
Castle Combe U14 2 - 0 FC Calne U14
Castle Combe U14 9 - 1 Hungerford Town Juniors U14

Swindon Supermarine R U14 2 - 0 Castle Combe U14
Highworth Town Juniors T U14 1 - 3 Castle Combe

WOW!

Thanks once again to all the parents - from both Trevor and Al. The bits and pieces you all do are really really important - thank you.
