Our annual Festival of Football 2024 will take place at Castle Combe Sportsfield SN14 7HB over the weekend of June 28, 29 & 30.

We're proud to say our event continues to grow in popularity with every year and was a sell-out again in 2023. We invite all grassroots clubs from near and far to come and join us again this summer in what promises to be another wonderful celebration of the beautiful game at our picturesque HQ this summer.

Our compact set-up - seven pitches in some of the best surroundings you'll find for youth football anywhere - means entries in all age groups are capped, so enter soon to avoid disappointment.

All age groups are mixed sex, apart from the U14s Girls section. 

The planned schedule for the weekend is listed below. Note these are subject to change (any affected age group managers will be contacted well in advance) and exact registration/finish times will be confirmed closer to the event.

All age groups are based on the 2023/24 season (age must not exceed age group on 31st August 2023).

U7s & U8s are 5-a-side with a maximum squad size of 8 players.

U9s, U10s, U11s, U12s, U13s, U14s Girls & U14s are 6-a-side with a maximum squad size of 8 players

U16s are 5-a-side with a maximum squad size of 7 players.

The entry fee is £35 per team and payment is via BACS only. Payment details will be sent to the email address provided once the online form is complete. Places will not be allocated until both the completed form and payment are received.

Please note the event is only open to grassroots teams affiliated to their own County Football Association. No JPL, regional talent centre or academy teams or players are allowed – see the Rules page for more information.

The closing date for entries is 31st May, 2024. Your place will only be confirmed after that date - receipt of the form and payment does not guarantee entry and a full refund will be made to any team whose entry is not successful for whatever reason.

We will charge £4 per car for parking and a programme. Additional programmes cost £2 each.

Do you have a football-mad son or daughter in Reception or Year 1 at school?

Our MiniKickers section for boys and girls aged 4 to 6 is one of the longest-running and successful in the Chippenham area - many of our current under-18s squad started their football journey with this group and are still proudly playing in black and white stripes today!

We're always on the lookout for new recruits (as well as aspiring parent coaches!). We're an award-winning, Charter Standard club and all of our teams are coached by fully-checked FA-qualified coaches. All drills are fun-based and our ethos means players of all abilities are welcome.

Our MiniKickers train on Saturday mornings during term time. Sessions are held outside on grass at Yatton Keynell or Castle Combe, or indoors at Sheldon School depending on the time of year. The first 4 sessions are free as a taster and, after that, children can get a year's worth of coaching for only £50.

What a weekend!

Another fantastic CCCFC Summer Festival seemed even more special this year after a long 24-month wait.

With Covid restrictions not long eased, our event was slimmed-down for 2021 to create more space - but the atmosphere around the sportsfield was as electric as ever as young footballers from Wiltshire and beyond relished the platform they were given in the most beautiful setting for miles around.

We were delighted to hear so much positive feedback from our visitors and at the end of an action-packed three days must say some thank-yous to the heroes who made it all possible…

- Our army of parent helpers and committee members who parked cars, kept score, marshalled the clubhouse, picked up litter and served refreshments

- Brad Anderson of Prestige Grounds for preparing six immaculate pitches

- Able Scaffold of Bath for answering our late call for a stage

- Julian Sattin and his top team of referees

- The spectators who came, observed the guidance and offered so much encouragement from the sidelines

- And finally, most importantly, the hundreds of players aged 4-18 who were the stars of the show - your goals, saves, smiles and sportsmanship offered proof if ever it were needed that football is the greatest game of all

We hope everybody who came along had as much fun as we did and can’t wait to welcome you back in even bigger numbers when normality returns in 2022.
